The Venue at Wildwood

I am so excited to show off The Venue at Wildwood to you all! This is a beautiful intimate wedding venue with a historic past, and I think it could be the perfect spot for the right couple.

This venue was originally built in 1936 as a post office and then was turned into a general store for a while. There are still original elements to the venue like some of the wood floors and doors. The building is known around town as the red brick building. To keep the historical significance, that hasn’t been changed!

The Logistics

The Venue at Wildwood is truly suited for intimate weddings. The guest list must be under 56. If a small intimate wedding is your style, then this venue could be a perfect match! They have a parking lot on site that can fit 20-25 cars. There is extra parking less than a block away. Additionally for wedding party convenience, they have a Groom and Bridal suite so that you can get ready with your wedding party right at the venue.

The Airbnb

One of my favorite parts of the venue is that it doubles as an Airbnb! Which means that you can stay at Wildwood before and/or after your wedding day. You can book the Maria Package which allows you to stay the night at the venue either the day before or after, with your rental of the wedding venue. For guests needing to travel, it’s also less than a 30 minute drive from Chattanooga.

Their outdoor venue space is surrounded by tall pines and there are benches outside for guests. It feels like a little secret wooded hideaway! You can select from multiple arbor choices for your ceremony and they also offer a chapel ceremony option. They have multiple indoor reception spots, including my favorite, which is full of large windows for plenty of natural sunlight. All venue rentals include reception tables and chairs, and there is a sweetheart table with different chair options!

The owners are incredibly sweet and want to help make your day as magical as possible. They have a great reputation for being easy going and going out of their way for their clients! They are a Christian and family owned business who prioritize community. I love that their venue feels like you get some small town love! There is even a local business right next to the venue that sells coffee and flowers. It is called Rosie Mae’s Alpaca Farm. It would be the perfect place for you and your spouse to stop by the morning after your wedding to see some alpacas.

I think that if you are planning an intimate wedding or even want to host a small reception after eloping, this could be the perfect spot for you! It feels like you are in a little wooded oasis. Plus there are plenty of gorgeous green backdrops for your portraits here. If you have any questions about the venue, reach out to me and I’d be happy to connect you with the venue owners.
